Gabriel and his wife were down from Virgina visiting his close friend Caleb and his family. They all packed up and went to Lido Beach for a fun day in the sun and surf. Gabriel was out in about knee-deep water tossing a football back and forth with Caleb. As Gabriel reached to catch the ball it hit his hand and off shot his wedding ring. They all looked for the ring but had no luck. Caleb remembered that there was a group that would search for lost rings and soon found SRARC ring finders with a google search. Caleb called Joe Szemer and Joe called Mike Miller who scheduled a meet with them at the beach. After searching for about 20 minutes Mike came up with the ring and handed it to an overjoyed Gabriel. The whole group came down to the water and we all did a happy dance. SRARC is happy that Gabriel can now return to Virginia with a good memory of his visit to Florida.

Ring Lost In Nokomis, Recovered BY SRARC

Bobby with Wife Tiffany and Sons Gage and Grayson came down to Nokomis beach from Tennessee for a couple of weeks of vacation. As they were standing on the shore right next to where the surf was washing up onto their feet Bobby realized his wedding ring was a little loose and want to secure it up where their beach camp was. He tried pulling it off but just couldn’t seem to get it to budge. He asked Gage to help him by pulling on it and then off it came and fell into the surf and disappeared immediately. They all searched for about half an hour but did not find it. They returned to where they were staying and then Bobby thought to Google “lost ring Nokomis” and up popped SRARC Ring Finders. Bobby called Joe Szemer and Joe contacted Mike Miller the next morning. Mike contacted Bobby and made arrangements to meet the family that afternoon. Bobby provide an idea of where it had been lost and when Mike arrived early he went ahead and started to hunt the general area. In about 5 minutes up came the ring. Mike waited for the family to arrive and when Bobby stepped up and offered his hand to Mike for coming to help, Mike slipped the ring into his hand. He was so surprised that he looked at his wife and said “he already found it”. The whole family had nothing but Big Smiles after that. It is always a pleasure to return an item with such a large personal value to the owner. Another vacation tragedy averted and turned into a great memory.
