Robert was picking up debris from around his home when he discovered his wedding ring was gone! His wife found our SRARC website and contacted Howard Metts. Howard and five other SRARC members volunteered to help search for the ring. After over an hour Howard came up with the ring. Robert and his wife Edie were very happy to see the ring again. Kristen was on the beach with her family. After a day of fun, she noticed her wedding rings were missing. After looking throughout the condo, she determined the rings were lost on the beach. Maybe it happened when she applied sunscreen to her children, not sure. She found SRARC.COM online and asked for help. Ed rushed over to the beach and began the hunt. After scanning the area, the rings were found. Lots of joy and excitement followed. Another excellent return for job well done.

Ring Lost In The Water, Recovered By SRARC

Clarence was married on this very beach in January. The weather was cold and they could not enjoy the water. Memorial Day Weekend 2021, Clarence and his wife are back at the same beach they were married on enjoying the sun and sand. While in the water, he lost his wedding ring in the surf. They found SRARC.COM online and made the call. Joe met the couple early next morning to start the search. Within an hour, the ring was recovered. The newlyweds were all smiles. Class Ring Lost, Recovered By SRARC

Tyler was skimming leaves from his swimming pool. As he tossed a handful of leaves, his cherished Texas A&M class ring went flying over the block wall at the back of his property and into the overgrown easement on the other side. Tyler and his wife, Brittany, searched the area for hours but were unable to find the ring. Brittany found SRARC online and the couple contacted Joe Szemer. Ringfinder members Mike and Mary Shuler responded. Tyler wasn’t home, but Brittany indicated where the ring was thought to have gone over the wall. After about 15 minutes, Mike and Mary climbed back into the yard with Mike holding Tyler’s ring! We know from prior phone conversations with Tyler how much this ring means to him, and SRARC is delighted that he’s reunited with it!

Ring Lost At Fort Desoto, Recovered By SRARC

Ana and Paul came to Ft Desoto to spend some quite time at the beach. They set up at the Bay pier and relaxed in the sun. After a while they went into the water and started to toss a small ball back and forth. As we have often seen, Ana was catching the ball when her engagement ring flew off into the water. They looked for hours and even purchased a small metal detector to try and find the ring. What a devastating loss while trying to save for the wedding this coming January. The next day they found the SRARC ring finders online and contacted Joe Szemer. Joe put a callout to the volunteers and Mike Miller answered the call. The time was set for 10:00 am and Mike arrived early. Using a location provided by Paul from Google Earth he went to work early and found the ring before Paul arrived to narrow the search. As Paul was showing Mike where to focus the hunt, Mike pulled the ring from his pouch and asked Paul if it looked like the right ring. He was overwhelmed and could not believe it was found. Because they were both wearing masks you couldn’t see the smiles but we know they were there. Best wishes for your future together Ana and Paul from the SRARC Ring Finders.

Ring Lost In Tampa Bay Area. Recovered By SRARC.

Sreeraj was jogging near his home when he felt his gold wedding band slip off his finger and saw it fly into the grass next to the path he was on. Sreeraj and his wife spent two hours combing through the grass, but had no luck in recovering the sentimental ring. Sreeraj turned to the internet and located SRARC. He contacted the club’s president, Howard Metts, who put out an announcement to the Ringfinders. Ed Osmar answered the call and arranged for a hunt the next morning. He was joined by Mike Shuler. Sreeraj took Ed and Mike to the spot where the loss occurred, and after just a few swings of the detector, Mike got a strong signal and saw the gold peeking through the grass! The happiness and relief were evident on Sreeraj’s face, and he thanked Ed and Mike several times on the walk back to his residence.

Lost Wedding Band Recovered In Pinellas Park

Mike Shuler met Leland at his home in Pinellas Park to search for the 14K wedding band he lost 2 months earlier. Leland was fairly sure the ring was in a sodded area approximately 15 feet square. After combing the area and finding only trash for 90 minutes, Mike went to Leland’s door to make his apologies. He told Leland that after he left the gated complex, he would make a pass through the hedges on the other side of the fence that abutted the sod. After pushing through the hedges and finding nothing, Mike was headed to his car when he got the hit that was the ring!

Backyard Recovery In Tampa Bay

While in their backyard Jasons’ fiance realized her ring had come off. Jason found out SRARC Ringfinders website and called Tom Jones who called Howard Metts to do the hunt. Howard met with Jason that afternoon and within an hour was able to find the beautiful ring. What a great way to end a Monday.

VACATION SAVED IN CLEARWATER BEACH, FLORIDA

Like a good neighbor, Kenny is there! Eric was floating on a paddleboard with his daughter, picking up shells in shallow water when he felt his ring slide of his finger! The ring immediately went out of site. Fast forward 1o days later, when Eric mentioned to his neighbor, Kenny, that his ring was long gone and he was going to buy a new one. Last year, Kenny had witnessed SRARC in action when he watched them detect and find woman’s ring right at the hotel next to his condo. Kenny urged Eric to contact SRARC. Eric was reluctant and felt the ring was surely lost forever. Kenny, not giving up, walked to the Doubletree Hotel, made some inquiries about the metal detectorists he had previously observed. The desk clerk had SRARC’s card on file and provided the necessary contact information to Kenny. Stan Flack got the call and a team was formed. Stan and team members Ed Osmar, Paul Hill, Jerry Schneider and Mike Shuler met early on a Sunday morning and were determined to find that ring! After about 15 minutes, Mike called the guys over to show them he had indeed found the ring! Eric was stunned upon hearing the news that his ring, lost 10 days ago on a busy Fourth of July holiday, had actually been found! Mike is a Tampa fireman and made arrangements to meet Eric in Tampa to return the ring. Eric’s children joined him and were excited to be in the fire station. Great tenacity and team work, guys! Everyone should have a neighbor like Kenny!
