Sreeraj was jogging near his home when he felt his gold wedding band slip off his finger and saw it fly into the grass next to the path he was on. Sreeraj and his wife spent two hours combing through the grass, but had no luck in recovering the sentimental ring. Sreeraj turned to the internet and located SRARC. He contacted the club’s president, Howard Metts, who put out an announcement to the Ringfinders. Ed Osmar answered the call and arranged for a hunt the next morning. He was joined by Mike Shuler. Sreeraj took Ed and Mike to the spot where the loss occurred, and after just a few swings of the detector, Mike got a strong signal and saw the gold peeking through the grass! The happiness and relief were evident on Sreeraj’s face, and he thanked Ed and Mike several times on the walk back to his residence.

Lost ring recovered at Madeira Beach

Gail and her Niece were enjoying the day at Madeira Beach. Gail decided to apply sun tan lotion and took off her ring and put it on her lap. Later she stood up and just then remembered the ring was in her lap and now it vanished in the soft white sand. After a search for lost rings on the beach she found SRARC and called Tom Jones who in turn passed the message on to team member Stan Flack. Stan was nearby and after a call with some details, took to the beach in search of the ring. After about 20 minutes the ring was recovered. Stan hustled the rings over to where Gail was staying as she was waiting on her Uber ride to the airport. An elated Gail hugged Stan and smiled with delight just as the driver packed her luggage in the car. Just in the nick of time!

Ring Recovery on Gulf Of Mexico Beach

Colin and Christina were down from Toronto with their 2 children finally getting to enjoying a nice sunny beach day after the recent cold snap.

Christina took off her rings to apply sun lotion to her kids and set them next to her on the beach towel. As some time passed she took the towel and shook off the sand and forgot she had left the rings on the towel. Panic ensued and after a frantic 30 minutes of looking, Colin googled metal detectors thinking he could rent one to look when SRARC’s web page came up. Colin called member Stan Flack who lives only minutes from where they were and Stan headed out as soon as possible.

Upon arrival, Stan found a teared eyed and distraught Christina. After a few details on what had happened, Stan started to work and within just a few minutes, both rings were recovered.

More water works from Christina a high five from Colin and hugs from the kids and all was right with Christina’s world again.

As always, it was our pleasure.
