Ring Lost On Longboat Key, Recovered By SRARC
Derek and Ashley were down from Kansas to get away from the freezing weather. They went out to the beach in front of their resort to enjoy the sun and water. While sitting in the beach chair Ashley flicked her hand and off came her engagement ring. They found SRARC ring finders on the internet and contacted Joe Szemer and he dispatched Mike Miller to the recovery site. In about 3 minutes Mike returned the lost ring to a very happy Derek.

Ring Lost On Longboat Key, Recovered By SRARC
Sam and Robin came down from New York to get away from the cold and to visit with their parents. They headed out to the beach to enjoy the sun and watch the waves and wildlife on the Gulf of Mexico. When they laid their towels out to sit on, Sam decided to hide his wedding ring in the towel so he wouldn’t loose it in the water. That is usually a very smart move but this time it backfired. As they packed up to leave Sam flipped his towel to clear the sand off and then instantly remembered his ring was hidden in that towel. They spent some time searching in the sand but had no luck. Then Robin remembered overhearing someone telling a story about The Ring Finders recovering a lost heirloom item for them. She grabbed her phone and googled “the ring finders”. Up popped the SRARC ring finders site and she immediately called Joe Szemer. Joe sent Mike Miller to meet them right away. Mike arrived right at sunset and within a few minutes Sam had his ring back on his finger. When the ring came out of the sand the whole beach crowd cheered and hugs and smiles were everywhere. Always a pleasure to see the smiles and relief on the peoples face when we can help the out.

SRARC Recovers Lost Gold Ring
Bob was preparing to hang his U.S. Flag on his house when his glasses fell off and landed in the shrubs of his flower bed. After searching for a while and successfully finding the glasses, he realized his sentimental gold ring had come off in the process! Bob searched the area diligently and even had help from his neighbors, but in the end the ring remained missing. Bob was put in touch with SRARC president Howard Metts, who made arrangements for a Ringfinders hunt. Howard and club member Mike Shuler went to work with hand-held pinpointers, searching in and around philodendrons and other bushes. After 25 minutes of finding roofing nails, Mike had the ring and held it out to a very emotional Bob! It was very moving to see how much it meant to Bob to have his ring back, and SRARC is glad to have been able to help.

Ring Lost On Clearwater Beach, Recovered By SRARC
Tobias and his wife Imke were spending a day on Clearwater Beach. When they got home he noticed his ring was missing. The police were called to report the ring missing and the officer on duty suggested they call our SRARC Ring Finder group. Howard Metts received a text and set up a hunt. Bill Gallant, Howard Metts, and Ed Osmar hunted for 30 minutes before Bill came up with the ring just outside the search area. As you can see from the expression on Imke, she was amazed and overjoyed that her husband’s ring was found. This will be a very Merry Christmas for them with a story they can tell family and friends.

Ring Lost On Anna Maria Island, Recovered By SRARC
Matt, his wife Tracey and Chris, his wife Amy came down from Indiana to enjoy Fall break with their children here in Florida. Chris and family went to Orlando to investigate the theme parks and Matt and family came to Anna Maria Island. Since they were friends, Matt invited Chris and family for a day at the beach. After they arrived from Orlando, both families headed together to the beach. They got settled on the sand and Matt and Chris headed out into the water and started throwing a football back and forth. On one of the throws, Chriss saw and felt his Gold and Platinum wedding ring fly of his finger. He knew right where it went into the water so he stood right there. They searched and searched but in the end could not find the ring. Later that evening Chris and family had to return to Orlando without his ring. Later that evening Matt googled “lost Rings on Anna Maria” and found SRARC Ring Finders. He contacted Joe Szemer who contacted Mike Miller who then did a callout for hunters. Mike Shuler, Dane Trask, and Mike all came together and meet Matt at the location the ring was lost. They got the information about where the ring was lost and went to work. About 20 minutes later Mike Miller got the sweet sound of Platinum in his ears and up came the lost ring in his scoop. There were lots if smiles as we waked back into the beach with the ring held high in the air. We don’t know when Chris will find out he has had his ring returned because we understand his wife Amy has some trickery planned, but we are sure he will end up with a great big smile on his face too.

Ring Lost On Clearwater Beach, Recovered By SRARC
Elias and Nour were visiting Clearwater Beach from Michigan prior to attending a friends wedding. While swimming Elias jumped into a wave and realized his gold chain he had for 25 years was gone. Nour then realized her gold engagement and wedding rings were also gone from her finger. They went to the lifeguard who directed them to our SRARC website and they contacted Howard Metts who immediately set up a hunt. Rob Clark, Bill Gallant, and Howard Metts were in the surf 2 hours latter conducting a hunt. Howard got a signal in ten minutes and could not get the item
due to the waves, his machine stopped working so Rob and Bill took turns searching. Rob found the target and after 6 attempts came up with the beautiful gold chain. The plan was to meet with Elias and Nour the next day to return the chain and hunt for the ring, as they had already left for their friends wedding.

Platinum Band Lost In Tampa, Recovered By SRARC
Marisa stepped outside and noticed the wind had blown a lot of branches and moss onto the lawn, so she decided to do some picking up. Her fingers were slightly swollen, so she moved her platinum diamond ring to her little finger before starting. She was shocked and saddened to find the ring was no longer on her finger when she finished her chore. She found SRARC Ringfinders and contacted Joe Szemer. A hunt was set up for that afternoon with Bill Gallant and Mike Shuler. In the end, it was Marisa’s keen eyesight that was responsible for her ring being found…she spotted it in the front lawn and ran to the back yard with it to show Bill and Mike, who were searching there. We’re grateful for “honorary ringfinder” Marissa’s help, and so happy that she has her beautiful ring back!
