Ring Lost On St. Pete Beach, Recovered BY SRARC

Last Saturday in St. Pete I lost my wedding band and engagement ring in the sand when I took it off to put sunscreen on the girls faces. I was forgetful and stood up before I put them back on and within five minutes had realized they were gone.

We dug in the sand and searched for them with no luck. We headed home Sunday and with that any hope of ever seeing them again was gone. My wonderful husband went out of his way to find this amazing non-profit who will go out and search for peoples missing important possessions. Javi sent them a picture of my rings and a overhead view of the beach he shot with his drone the day before specifying where we were sitting…

Y’all they found my rings!

Thank you so so much Srarc!!

I am so grateful and just a complete puddle over how good people are.

Michael was down from Maryland to visit his grandparents and decided to go to Upham Beach for some sun and swimming. As he was splashing around in waist-deep water, Michael felt his David Yurman black diamond ring slip off his finger! He tried to catch it, but the ring hit bottom and was instantly out of sight. Michael spent the next 3 ½ hours hovering around the area, feeling around for the ring that meant so much to him. He didn’t find it, but luckily he found Ringfinders and the Suncoast Research and Recovery Club! He contacted the club vice president Joe Szemer, who put out a notice to the club members. Mike Shuler responded the next morning and after about 30 minutes of searching, put a call out to Michael to let him know his ring had been found! An ecstatic Michael got to the beach as quickly as he could to be reunited with the ring he thought he’d never see again! SRARC is glad that Michael can now enjoy the rest of his visit
