Ring Lost On Honeymoon Island, Recovered By SRARC

Evan was tossing the football while standing in waist-deep water at Honeymoon Island Beach. He went to twist his wedding band between his fingers, which he has a habit of doing, and discovered the band was not there! Evan did his best to find the ring, but his efforts fell flat. A couple of weeks later, Evan learned about SRARC and the Ringfinders. He contacted club president Howard Metts, and a hunt was set up. Evan watched as Howard, Dimitur Alipiev and Ed Osmar gridded the area with their detectors while getting pounded by the high tide and big waves. The first attempt was not successful, so Howard scheduled a second hunt after the surf calmed down and the tide was low. Once again Evan was there for moral support. This time Howard was joined by Mike Shuler. The two worked carefully around the big rocks that covered the area and after a little over an hour, Mike had the ring in his scoop! Evan was ecstatic to have his sentimental ring back, and immediately contacted his wife to share the good news!

Robert was wade fishing on Honeymoon Island when he watched his wedding ring slide off into the water. A neighbortold them to call our club which put them in contact with Howard Metts. Three members from SRARC Ringfinders cameout for the hunt, Dimitur Alipiev, Howard Metts, and Mike Shuler. Robert and his wife guided the hunters to where they thought the ring had come off. After an hour of no success, Howard Metts decided to hunt in shallower water, 15 minutes later Howard had the ring in his scoop. Robert and Kelly were amazed we had found it as a neighbor searched for 2 hours without finding it. Great job SRARC Ringfinders!
