Ring Lost is Recovered by SRARC
Last year we had a very successful
recovery where we returned 5 rings and two watches out of one yard. A year
later, Renee called us back after being absent from her home for a few months
and discovering on her return that several jewelry items were missing. She was
hoping that they had been thrown into the yard again. Mike Miller and Carl
Boekemier hunted for several hours and determined that none of the missing
items were in the yard. We did recover one Man’s wedding ring which had ben
lost years earlier. Now we can say we recovered 6 rings and 2 watches from the
same yard. We also want to wish Renee good luck on finding her missing items
one of which was the Rolex watch we recovered on our first hunt.

Ring Lost in Saint Petersburg is Recovered by SRARC
Rick was playing league volleyball with his team at
the Rec Dec Sports Club in St Pete. In between games, he noticed that the
ring he’d been wearing for 20 years was not on his finger! Rick and about
30 other players were soon on their hands and knees, sifting through the sand
to no avail. The next day, Rick discovered The Ringfinders on the Internet and
contacted Joe Szemer. Joe put out a notification, and Mike and Mary Shuler
responded. They met with the Rec Dec staff, who were aware of the
situation and welcomed the recovery attempt. At the end of the first pass along
the net, Mike had the ring in his scoop! The ring was left with staff,
and was collected by its happy owner soon afterward.

Ring Lost on Siesta Key is Recovered by SRARC
The dreaded ring in the chair trick is no match for our Ringfinders!
************************************************
Rick and his wife were down from North Georgia near Atlanta enjoying the
wonderful beaches near Siesta Key. Rick’s wife took off her wedding band
and put it in the beach chair for safe keeping. When they were ready to
go they scooped up the chair, shook off the sand and headed for the
condo. Only to realize the ring was back on the beach. Rick found SRARC
online and made the call. Just so happens Mike Miller and Paul Hill were
less then a half mile away looking for another lost ring. They were
about ready to leave because the surf was too rough to hunt due to the
storms out in the gulf. They headed right over and were met by Rick
immediately. He took them to the spot were he thought they had set up on
the day before. The search began. Within 3 minutes Paul had the ring in
his scoop. Rick was amazed and truly shocked that they had recovered his
wife’s matching wedding band. He actually wiped a tear from his eye.
It just doesn’t get any better then that!
Enjoy your stay and come back any time!
Thanks guys for your compassion and time!

Lost Ring On Longboat Key Recovered by SRARC.
Liz’s best friend Alicia visited with her family from Orlando over Memorial Day weekend. The two families decided to go to the beach to watch the sunset and then have dinner at St Armand’s Circle. When they arrived at St Armand’s it was so crowded that they decided to drive further up to Longboat Key to find a place to watch the sunset. They found a public access area where they could park and unloaded the car and kids and walked out to the beach. The children got busy right away and played in the sand until it was time to go. Johnny, Liz’s husband picked up their daughter Mackenzie and took her to the waters edge to clean the sand off of her hands and arms. After she was clean Johnny brushed his hands off on his pants and felt his wedding ring fall off into the water and disappear. They looked but had no luck so they headed home. The next day they rented a metal detector but still had no luck. A few days later, they found SRARC on the Ring Finders site. Howard put out a call and Mike Miller responded and soon arrangements were made to meet at the site. Liz arrived a little late and Mike had already recovered the ring before she got there. Liz was overjoyed as you can see in the picture. It has been a tough week for the family and the return of the ring was a big relief. Our best wishes for a rapid recovery of Johnny from his upcoming surgery.

Ring Lost on Coquina Beach. SRARC recovers it.
Jessica, Daniel and friends
traveled from Brooksville to Coquina Beach for a day in the sun and water over
the Memorial day weekend. They were all in the water and tossing a nerf football
between them. Jessica was standing to the side watching when all of a sudden
Daniel threw the ball at her. She put her hand up to deflect the ball and off
flew her wedding ring. They looked for about a half and hour or so, but decided
there was no way to find it. A little later they contacted SRARC through Ring
Finders and arrangements were made for a hunt the next day. Mike showed up at
6:30 am and started to hunt. After about 3 hours of hunting up came the ring.
Whe informed her ring had been found, Jessica hopped into her car and drove all
the way from Brooksville to retrieve it. As you can see in the picture she was
all smiles.

Amy and Mark, from Illinois, were sunning on beautiful Treasure Island Beach, Florida. Mark took his ring off and
dropped it, hitting the table in the cabana. The ring flew out into the sand. After looking and raking the sand,
the ring could not be found. SRARC was called and Joe was dispatched to the area. A few swings of the
detector and the ring was found.

Ring Lost at Crescent Beach, Siesta Key. SRARC recovers it.
Amanda and Sam visited us from Nebraska for a little spring warm up. It was a special place to them and they were happy to be back once again. Sam had something special in mind as they went to Siesta Key Crescent Beach. They laid out their blanket and beach things and then he got down on one knee and proposed marriage to Amanda. What a surprise!!!!, but Amanda was all in and said “YES”. They talked excitedly about their future and then decided to venture into the water. A short 30 minutes after Sam slide an engagement ring onto her finger, Amanda was hit by a wave and the ring slipped off her finger into the sand and disappeared. They searched but could not find it and with sad hearts they finally returned to their house. Amanda googled “how to find a lost ring” and Ring Finders popped up and she found SRARC and contacted us. Mike Miller was assigned the recovery and he met them on the beach the following morning. It was very rough but he tried anyway but after about 10 minutes later it was clear he could not continue. He kept checking the surf every day and finally 3 days later he was able to hunt and after about and hour he found the ring. Mike called Amanda from the beach and they were still in town so he arranged to meet them. After returning the ring Amanda told Mike the story about the proposal for the first time which is what makes this story so special. They were all smiles and were returning home the next day with a story that will last them a life time.

Ring Lost on Redington Shores Beach, SRARC recovers it.
Paul was in waist deep water
swimming on Redington Shores Beach. When he was home later he discovered
his wedding ring had come off. Paul found our SRARC Ringfinders website
and contacted Howard Metts. A hunt was scheduled and a team of
SRARC Ringfinders consisting of Joe Montione, Mike Shuler, Dimitur
Alipiev, and Howard Metts were at the beach six days latter. Mike Shuler
immediately found a a 2019 High School ring. Forty minutes latter Mike
came up with Paul’s wedding ring. Paul was joined our team minutes after
and was overjoyed to see his wedding ring again. Mike will also return
the high school ring after contacting the school. Great job team!
**Class Ring Follow-up**
Thanks to the detective work of Mike Shuler’s wife Mary
(also a Ringfinder), contact was established with the family of Victor, the
ring’s owner. Victor and his mother, Stephanie picked the ring up just in time
for his graduation party the following day!
