Diamond and gold pendant lost on a Tampa soccer field, recovered by SRARC.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
\n\nMarc was at a Tampa soccer field last Nov when he lost his diamond and gold pendent. He saw a metal detectorist close by and asked for his help, but it was not found. Marc let his mother, Arleen know about his loss, a gift from his father on his 13th birthday (Bar mitzvah). She contacted SRARC and Mike and Mary went the next day to search for it with no luck.\nA short time later the original hunter, Bob, went back to search the field to see what could be found and came up with the pendent. Marc had not left his name when he asked Bob to hunt the day he lost it so Bob had no way of contacting him.\nAt SRARC July meeting, Bob was a guest speaker for us and Mary recognized the pendent when Bob was showings some of the items he found and a little history of them. After the meeting Bob was informed of the owner and he met with Arleen and Marc, returning his lost item. Everyone was elated with the outcome, even though it took 8 months, a lot of luck and Mary’s good memory.
