Ring Lost On Anna Maria Island, Recovered By SRARC

Jerry and Sue came to Anna Maria Island to have their wedding. All the families were there on the beach to attend the ceremony. Luke, Jerry’s son the best man, was busy organizing the wedding party because of an impending thunder storm and was on and off his cell phone several times prior the ceremony. Finally everything was ready and the wedding began. When the time for handing over the wedding ring came, Luke searched all his pockets but could not find it so the wedding went on without the ring. After the event was over the wedding party retraced their steps but could not find it. The next day someone found SRARC Ring Finders online and contacted Howard Mett’s. He organized a hunt and soon Tom and JoAnn Gajentan along with Mike Miller met the newly married couple and started a search. After about 10 minutes, Mike got lucky and out of the sand came the missing wedding ring. The couple were overjoyed and could not wait to relieve Luke’s sadness over losing the ring. It had simply fallen out of his pocket as he was placing and receiving calls on this cell phone. All is good that ends with such a happy result may you have many happy years together!!!!!!!

Ring Lost On Clearwater Beach, Recovered By SRARC

Bill was enjoying Clearwater Beach with a group of his coworkers. After spilling a drink on his hands, they became sticky and sand got under his wedding band. He removed it to wash his hands and didn’t realize until much later that he no longer had the ring with him! After returning to the site and raking through the sand with no luck, he turned to the internet to look into renting a metal detector. While he was searching, he discovered SRARC. He got in touch with club president Howard Metts, who put out a notice to the club’s Ringfinder members. Rob Clarke and Mike Shuler arranged to meet Bill at the spot where he remembered setting down his ring. Rob and Mike started gridding the area, and in less than 10 minutes, Bill was reunited with his ring!

Kristen was on the beach with her family. After a day of fun, she noticed her wedding rings were missing. After looking throughout the condo, she determined the rings were lost on the beach. Maybe it happened when she applied sunscreen to her children, not sure. She found SRARC.COM online and asked for help. Ed rushed over to the beach and began the hunt. After scanning the area, the rings were found. Lots of joy and excitement followed. Another excellent return for job well done.

Ring Lost ON SIESTA KEY, Recovered By SRARC

Cindy and John came over to Siesta Key from Orlando for a few days to relax and enjoy the sun. They have a condo close to the water and after joining a few friends they all headed to the sandy beach to visit and play in the water. After a short time on the sand Cindy and three of her girlfriends decided to hit the water. As they swam and floated in the water, Cindy felt her wedding ring slide off of her finger. She stopped and stood right where it had fallen. Everyone gathered around her and looked for the ring but it was not to be found. Cindy was heartbroken because after 40 years of marriage, on their anniversary, they had just recently replaced her original wedding set with this new set. Later that evening, after talking with her daughter, her son -in-law told her about the ring finders. She found SRARC on the site and contacted Joe Szemer.  Joe contacted Mike Miller and arrangements were made to do a hunt the next morning. Mike and Dane Trask meet Cindy and John on the beach and got the story of what had happened and the area where the ring had been lost. The hunt was on but there was nothing happening until about 2 hours later. Just as Dane needed to head home, Mike took a couple more swings and got the hit. Needless to say we had a very happy couple and their friends and family when they heard the news that the ring had been found.

Ring Lost On Clearwater Beach, Recovered By SRARC

Josh and Sydney met up with their friends Michael and Sam at Clearwater Beach to hang out for part of the Memorial Day weekend. They were tossing the football around when Josh felt his tungsten carbide wedding band slip off his finger and disappear into the soft sugar sand. They raked through the sand with their fingers with no luck, then the lifeguard gave Josh the number for the Suncoast Research and Recovery Club. Josh contacted club vice president Joe Szemer who put a notice out to all members of the Ringfinders group. Mike Shuler responded to search the area just after sunset as the crowds were leaving, and found the ring on the third sweep! The next morning Michael and Sam came to Mike’s house to collect their friend’s precious ring, and left a generous donation for the club! We’re very happy that Josh is reunited with his wedding band, especially in light of the fact that he and Sydney were married just a month ago!
