Ring Lost In Sarasota, Recovered By SRARC

Jackie was helping out at her Mom’s house in Sarasota by removing air plants from the hedges. As she was picking the branches down inside the hedge she felt her ring fall off. She looked around on the ground under the hedge and found it laying there. She put it back on and went back to picking air plants. When she finished she noticed her ring missing again. She searched the ground under all the bushes she had worked on but could not find her ring. After googling for help she found SRARC ring finders and contacted Joe Szemer. Joe contacted Mike and he made arrangements to meet Jackie at her mothers house. After detecting the ground under the bushes and finding only nails and screws, Mike started moving the coil over the tops and down into the bushes. Soon a nice signal sounded and Mike carefully searched the branches and only found a roofing nail that had been setting there for years. Disappointed, Mike continued to search the tops, sides, and down in between the branches of both bushes. Finally he return to the bush that the roofing nail had been found in and searched again. As he passed next to the area where the nail had sounded off earlier another strong signal was detected. A close inspection revealed the elusive ring. There were lots of smiles and hugs as Jackie was reconnected with her ring. It is always a pleasure to see the excitement and smiles when we get to return a lost item.

Patrick and his family were down to Longboat Key from Toronto, Canada for a short winter break. Ring Lost On Anna Maria Island, Recovered By SRARC

Jerzy was down with his family while his son was attending IMG Academy soccer camp. They decided to stay a few extra days to enjoy time on Anna Maria Island at the beach and in the Gulf of Mexico. Jerzy was out in about knee deep water tossing a ball with his son when he felt sand under his wedding ring. He stopped tossing the ball and spun the ring on his finger and pushed it to his knuckle to rinse the sand off. His son then tossed him the ball and when the ball hit his hand off went his ring. They looked for the ring but as we all know it is almost impossible to find it once it hits the sand. Jerzy found SRARC ring finders with Google and soon Mike Miller was in contact and went to meet him at the beach. Jerzy showed Mike the area where he had lost it but the water was to rough for a safe hunt so Mike said he would return when the tide was right and the water was calmer. Mike returned a few days later and hunted for three hours and had no luck. Still waiting for a good tide Mike returned a couple days later and finally had calm water. Two hours into the hunt the ring finally revealed itself. When Mike texted Jerzy a picture of his ring he was overjoyed. Since Jerzy and family have returned home it will be a few days until he can put it back on his finger and I’m sure when he opens the package he will have a huge smile on his face. It is always such a pleasure to return an item the owner thought was gone forever.

Glenn and his wife were enjoying a fantastic day at St. Pete Beach, on the Florida Gulf coast. He took his ring off, placed it on his lap and applied sunscreen. He stood up and the ring went into the white powdery sand. Finding SRARC.COM online, he called Joe. Beach traffic was at a standstill as usual on Saturday afternoon. Joe notified Glenn, who drove Joe’s car as he hunted for the ring. The ring was found and Joe returned to his car still stuck in traffic. Glenn and his wife were all smiles and very appreciative.

Ring Lost On Anna Maria Island, Recovered BY SRARC

At their wedding on Anna Maria Island, Daniel was preparing to slide the wedding ring onto Emily’s ring finger when disaster struck. In preparation for receiving the ring Emily had removed her engagement ring and slipped it on to end of her little finger. As Daniel started to put the wedding onto her finger Emily’s reaction caused her to flip her little finger and off flew the engagement ring and disappeared into the sand as well. They quickly found the wedding ring and the ceremony continued. Later the whole wedding party searched but the engagement ring could not be found. Someone found SRARC ring finders online and contacted Joe Szemer. Joe called Mike Miller who responded immediately and headed for the wedding location on the beach. When Mike arrived the wedding party had left for the reception and there was another metal detectorist searching the area because someone who had been there when the ring was lost called him over when she saw him coming down the beach. They both searched for about 5 minutes and then the other detectorist found the ring. The Grooms brother (Matt) had called Mike earlier and requested that the he call him instead of the bride if the ring was found so he could surprise them at the reception. Mike was going to drive right by the reception on his way home so the other detectorist kindly gave Mike the ring so it could be delivered. Mike arrived about an hour later and called Matt to come to the parking area to get the ring. Matt had a master plan to  present the ring to the Bride and Groom and invited Mike in to watch. Matt got the microphone and called his brother to center stage. He then talked a little about the catastrophe at the wedding and then open the box and gave the ring to his brother. Daniel called Emily up and got down on one knee and slipped the ring back onto her finger. The crowd was cheering and everyone was smiling from ear to ear. SRARC wants to wish the Bride and Groom the best for their future life together. We always like to be a smiling part to a happy ending.

Ring Lost On St. Pete Beach, Recovered BY SRARC

Last Saturday in St. Pete I lost my wedding band and engagement ring in the sand when I took it off to put sunscreen on the girls faces. I was forgetful and stood up before I put them back on and within five minutes had realized they were gone.

We dug in the sand and searched for them with no luck. We headed home Sunday and with that any hope of ever seeing them again was gone. My wonderful husband went out of his way to find this amazing non-profit who will go out and search for peoples missing important possessions. Javi sent them a picture of my rings and a overhead view of the beach he shot with his drone the day before specifying where we were sitting…

Y’all they found my rings!

Thank you so so much Srarc!!

I am so grateful and just a complete puddle over how good people are.
