    Matt was down with his wife and baby for a first time visit to Anna Maria Island from Orlando. It was the first day of open beach on the Island as the Covid 19 restrictions were loosened. They were enjoying sitting in the sun and feeling the cool breeze coming off the Gulf of Mexico. Suddenly Matt noticed his wedding ring was missing and they began to search through the sand for it. Time was getting short since they needed to leave soon to return to Orlando when Matt found SRARC on the internet and contacted Howard Metts. Howard contacted Mike Miller and Mike headed for the beach right away. After meeting at the beach and walking to the location Mike took about 6 or 8 swings and found the ring. SRARC is happy that the ring was found so quickly and the family was able to keep on schedule to return home with smiles on their faces.

    Ring Lost On Siesta Key, Recovered By SRARC

    On Easter Sunday, Gary and a friend decided to go down to the White Sands Cabana Club and enjoy the sand and surf on Siesta Key. After setting up chairs He decided to put some suntan lotion on so he removed his ring and put it into a pocket of the chair. After spending some time on the beach the wind began to pick up and the sand began to fly so they grabbed their chairs, folded them, and head back to their cabana. They put everything away and headed for home. About an hour later Gary noticed his ring was missing. They returned to the beach, checked in the chair pocket and then hunted along the trail and at the beach but could not find the ring. The next day Gary found the SRARC Ring Finders on line and contacted Howard Metts. Mike Schuler and Mike Miller volunteered to go and made arrangements to meet the following Friday. Gary led them out to the spot on the beach where they had been sitting and after about 10 minutes the ring was recovered. Gary was over the moon excited but we all abided by the separation rules and he soon had it back on his hand. Congratulations Gary we are so happy we could help you find your ring.

    Ring Lost On Treasure Island, Recovered By SRARC

    Tim, from Ohio, was relaxing on Treasure Island Beach with his family. As he was reclining in a chair, his ring fell off into the powdery white sand. He searched and even tried to rake the sand, no luck. He found SRARC on his phone anda member was dispatched. The ring was located and reunited with its owner. Another good day on vacation.

    Ring Lost On Anna Maria Island, Recovered By SRARC

    Jeff from the Miami area joined his friend John and other family members on Anna Maria Island to relax during the current voluntary isolation recommendations. Jeff and John were out in about waist deep water rough housing and as they made some fast movements Jeff saw his ring come off and disappear into the gulf waters. He and John got some digging sieves and tried to find it, but they had no luck. After returning to their house Jeff posted what had happened on Facebook and soon after a friend recommended, he should contact SRARC. He called Joe Szemer and Joe put a callout request to the members. Mike Miller responded and made arrangements to meet Jeff on next morning. They meet at 8:00 am and by 8:15 am Jeff was wearing his ring again. It was a great pleasure to see the astonishment and joy on Jeff’s face when Mike handed him the ring. It was a very special ring to Jeff which had been acquired while visiting Dubai, UAE.

    Anthony was playing ball with a friend on Clearwater Beach when he noticed his wedding ring was missing. He found our SRARC Ring finders website and contacted Howard Metts. Howard contacted Rob Clarke as he knew Rob was on the beach doing a fun hunt. Rob meet with Anthony and his friends and was able to locate the ring in 5 minutes. Great job Rob saving another vacationers day on the beach!

    Ring Lost on Venice Beach, Recovered By SRARC

    Abbey and her sister Ameilia were escaping the cold weather of their home state of Wisconsin by visiting Venice Beach. They were standing in waist-deep water when Abbey dropped her diamond engagement ring while playing with it on her finger. She instinctively plugged her nose and dove for the ring, but the soft Venice sand instantly had it covered. Abbey found a passing metal detectorist who spent an hour trying to retrieve her lost ring, but to no avail. Abbey’s sister found SRARC online and made contact with the club’s president, Howard Metts. Howard and Mike Shuler met with Abbey and Amelia the next day, and the two showed Howard and Mike right where they were standing when the loss occurred. They were so accurate that within two minutes Mike was pulling the ring out of his scoop and handing it to a delighted Abbey! We’re so glad that Abbey is returning to Wisconsin with her precious ring!

    Pinellas Park Ring Lost, Recovered By SRARC

    Amy was riding through her neighborhood with friends on a golf cart. She reached out quickly to point at something, and felt the ring fly off her finger. Amy’s husband, Corey, used a metal detector to search the grassy easement next to the road without success. They learned about SRARC and Ringfinders through friends, and were soon in touch with Joe Szemer. Bill Gallant and Mike Shuler responded to the site, and after about 20 minutes a happy and emotional Amy was holding her ring again!

    Shanti’s daughter was playing soccer in the community’s park when her 22K gold earring came off.  Her mother found our SRARC Ring Finders website and contacted Howard Metts who set up a hunt for the next day.  Bill Gallant and Mike Shuler joined Howard for the hunt which ended in about 30 minutes when Howard came up with the earring.  Mother and daughter were very appreciative of our group for the return of the earring.

    Julia was spending the last day of vacation on St. Pete Beach FL with her father. Being from Michigan, spending time on the beach in January beats shoveling snow. She picked a flower for her father and her ring fell off into the fluffy white sugar sand. They tried to find the ring with their hands but to no avail. Julia found SRARC online, contacted Joe while driving to the airport and the picture tells the rest of the story.

    John was out in his backyard with his dog and noticed his silver wedding ring had fallen off. He found our SRARC Ring Finders website and contacted Howard Metts. Howard setup a hunt for the next day and Ed Osmar joined him. After 20 minutes of hunting John’s backyard, Ed came up with the ring! John and his wife were very happy to be reunited with the ring after 10 days. Great job team!
