Ring Lost In Bradenton, Recovered By SRARC

Carl was washing the dog in his driveway in Bradenton. As he scrubbed, his hand flew up and his ring went flying out into the yard. This was his step fathers wedding ring given to him by Carl’s mother. It had been handed down to Carl after his mother had passed. Carl was very close to his step father who came into the family with a very interesting past. The family was living in Germany during Hitler’s rise and Carl’s step father and one brother were able to escape to the USA but lost all other family members in Auschwitz. He joined the US armed forces and ended up in the 101 Airborne Division. He fought at the Battle of the Bulge and also the capture of Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest. Carl held this ring with great respect and was heartbroken over it’s loss. Carl goggled the internet and found SRARC ring finders and was shortly connected with Howard Mett’s. Howard called for a hunt and Mike Miller responded. Mike met Carl at the site and Carl described where he thought the ring had landed. After going over the area several times with no luck we were loosing hope. Mike started checking the flower beds that were close to the area but nothing popped out. They started ripping the shrubs out so more of the ground could be covered and as the last of the bushes came Mike got a good hit. Carl was overjoyed as Mike help the ring up. Needless to say, Carl was grinning from ear to ear. SRARC is proud to return something so important to Carl but also to help keep the memory alive of one of our brave military veterans.

Ring Lost On Clearwater Beach, Recovered By SRARC

Jordan and Lindsay were visiting Clearwater Beach while on their vacation from Kansas City. Before running into the surf, Jordan removed his platinum wedding band and carefully folded it into his shirt. When it was time to leave Jordan gathered his belongings and headed off the beach. It wasn’t long before he realized his ring was missing, and hours of digging through the sand where his cabana had been proved fruitless. Randy Cooper (Jordan’s father in-law)found the SRARC website and shared it with Jordan and Lindsay, who quickly contacted Joe Szemer. Joe put out the call to the Ringfinders, and Mike Shuler and Bill Gallant met with Jordan at the site about an hour later. Jordan had wisely outlined the area of the loss in the sand, and in less than five minutes, an emotional Jordan was wearing his ring again!

Ring Lost On Clearwater Beach, SRARC Recovers

Joe and his family were staying at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach Resort to relax on the beach and visit friends. On the last day of their vacation, Joe was playing football with his son when the ring flew off his finger and into the Gulf. The ring had an inlay of meteorite and was very special to him. A frantic search of the internet led Joe to Ringfinders. It was nearly dark, so a search was arranged for the following morning. Joe and his family had already departed for their home in New Jersey, but Mike Shuler, Bill Gallant, and Ed Osmar responded to the site and within 10 minutes, Mike had the ring in his scoop. Joe could hardly believe it when he got the call that his ring was recovered, and was thrilled that it would soon be shipped home!

Lost Ring Bradenton Beach, Recovered By SRARC

Pat and whole family came down from Nova Scotia to Bradenton Beach for a short semi annual family reunion. They were all out on the beach enjoying the warm weather and they started throwing a football around. Pat was out in waist deep water and all of a sudden he noticed his wedding ring was missing. He had no idea when the ring had slipped off, but the area he had played in was fairly small. Later he was talking with his wife, a tax account who had missed the trip due to a very busy tax season, and she found us on a google search. She gave him the number and soon SRARC made an appointment to meet. Mike Miller met Pat the next morning and in about 10 minutes he had his wedding ring back on his finger.

Quick Ring Recovery On Pass-A-Grille Beach, Florida

Maria was at Pass-A-Grille Beach with family enjoying a hot July day when she suddenly felt her ring slip off her finger! Thinking quickly, Maria asked her cousin to stand where she thought she dropped the ring as the others tried to find it. Having no luck, Maria searched “lost ring help” and located SRARC on the Internet. Maria asked the cousin to stay in the water while she contacted team member, Stan Flack. Stan passed Maria’s phone number on to Joe Szemer. After speaking to Maria, Joe geared up and was at the beach within 30 minutes. Searching near the patient cousin, Joe decided to slightly expand the area and found the ring in just a few minutes. Everyone was elated with hugs and high fives all the way around! Nicely done, Joe!
